The active integrated management of the Tennessee valley resulted in vastly improving the habitat for wildlife and fish. These dams were later used for culturing different varieties of bass.
•Five years later, DuPont Company filed patent for nylon net. This was later developed
into nylon monofilament line.
•The year 1992 is noteworthy because Larry Nixon earned $1 million as a professional bass fisherman that year.

•Micropterus salmoides (Lacepede) - Largemouth Bass •Micropterus dolomieui - Smallmouth bass •Micropterus punctatus - Kentucky Bass
