However Each year, millions of people come to the realization that they suffer from depression. To make things worse it is estimated that only a third of those who suffer the disease will ever seek treatment. However Many Americans don't want to be considered crazy, so because is considered a mental affliction they avoid diagnosis. They would rather deal with the problem on their own than risk being stereotyped should they seek assistance. However Depression doesn't just stop, and it's a lot more common than people think.
What are the causes for depression? The answer can get very complicated because you have to take many factors into consideration. However There are so many things factored into the cause of this disease. Here are a few of the parts of depression. However Brain chemicals being out of proportion contributes strongly to depression. This may be the case, but what causes that imbalance? Typically the causes stem from biological, genetic, physical, mental and environmental implications. However There are those inflicted that never really determine what spurned their depression. Depression often follows diagnosis of other medical conditions, particularly those that result in imminent death or are chronic.
The loss of a loved one or treasured possession can have a tremendous impact resulting in depression. Depression often follows sexual or physical abuse, or emotional attacks. In addition, many cases of are given birth by substance abuse, rather it be drugs or alcohol. However People's mental states are fragile. If exposed to the wrong pressures, can result. In many cases is passed on genetically.
Those afflicted have a family history of the disease. However Many prescription drugs can cause depression. It has been clinically proven that some high blood pressure medication can cause depression.
Depression can result from stress. However Stress can derive from many different areas in our life. However Some of that stress can even be related to positive events in our lives such as promotions, graduation or moving into a new house. In these cases it's not the good event causing stress, but fear of the unknown and/or fear of ability to deserve or maintain the positive element. Arguments with family members, disputes with business clients can both cause stress. However Just trying to make ends meet is stressful for some people. By determining the cause, medical professionals have a much better chance of administering a treatment. However It's important that those who suffer get medical help at once.
